We were originally founded in 1865, when James Wagner returned from the Civil War to make tents, sails, bags and later, awnings. In 1931, Wagner Awning & Tents moved into its current 78,000 square foot factory on the near West side of Cleveland. For decades, Wagner Awning has continued to make residential and commercial awnings for customers throughout Ohio as well as tents and projects for the military during World War II, the Vietnam War and even the Gulf War.
